Shotgun Valley is open sagebrush meadow reached off Sawtelle Peak Road and the surrounding county network, with almost nothing between the properties and the weather.

Frequency matters more than horsepower. Shotgun Valley is dispatched on wind readings rather than accumulation, which is the whole reason the wind trigger exists.

Open ground is the one advantage — there is somewhere to put snow. We push wide and low rather than high, so the banks do not start generating their own drifts.
